Paragraphs of imagination

In the literature classes, we decided to make, based on poems and stories, collages of the ones we chose with our companion. The collage was made after we created a thematic statement for the stories and poems we would use. This collage, is all our work, hope you find it useful and interesting:

Protective poems

In the Literature class, we had to make a poem and we were given two options. I choose the one were we had to invent a mythological creature that protects the place were you live. So, here it is my poem:

The guardian task

The winds brought you here,

from the north you came along.

You brought joy and happiness

but darkness as well.

Your sky orbes had to see the beating hearts of the living,

to look after the innocent and pure lives,

but one deadly night,

your graceful sight decided to shut,

making the shadows from the west, to attack.

Your pansy form face in the orange and blue morning woke up,

you saw destruction you saw pain,

but the only thing you could think, was revenge.

Your lilac silk body was upset,
however it understood the big threat.
You grew srtong but sad,
you knew it was your bad.
You, mister guardian looked for your goal,
nevertheless the west was now only coal.
You came back, creating rivers with your tears,
and at the final show, after all these years,
your majestic form was transformed into a beautiful river,
that would protect us all from our fears.

Poetry, poetry and more poetry

In class we read some poems that ended giving us some ideas for poems. This is mine:

Irresolute feeling

Love is as sweet as a breeze in summer

umpredictable and hard to discover

Love is a feeling that will make you smile, cry and laugh

when you finally find it you cannot live wihout your other half.

Sometimes it will hurt like a knife in your chest,

occasionally you will feel joy in your breast

and maybe you will finally feel messed

no one knows if at the end you'll feel stressed

nevertheless it feels like a never ending test.

Love is incredible, curious and delicate

it can be as warm as summer or as cold as winter

your heart is fragil, in times it will break like a glass

however it will regenerate as time.

Love is like a angelical song

don't be afraid of it,

follow your spirit

and love will always help you find your way.

Games at Twilight

In our Literature class we read a novel called "Games at Twilight" from Anita Desai and after that we make a presentation giving a lot of concepts about the novel:

In class we read a poem called 'She was a Phantom of delight' that talked about the feelings of a man to a woman. So then we had to write our own poem.

Fearless love

Eyes as blue as an ocean

full of dreams and emotions

Brown and soft hair

wild by the wind but you didn't care.

The whispers around us would never stop

but both of us could make them go

Smiling was our only defense

because anything around us could make sense.

The feelings hided deep in some place

crying for someones help

Fighting the darkness storm

bleeding the words of love.
